Just got home from a horrible 2250 pt battle. I made a great many mistakes and my opponent smashed me. All my rolls were horrible as well but I wont blame them too much.
But one moment had me going. From 13" away my Master Engineer manned cannon managed to miss a HIGE BUILDING.
This got me thinking about what other really stupid things have your throng done?
Current painting project: 2300 pts of Dwarfs in 5 weeks.
We were playing to the end rather than number of turns. (Turn 1 my quarrellers forced a missle unit out of a building with their fire, Turn 2 broke and ran down a unit of treekin so my lck had to even out somewhere in the 750pts battle).
"The nature of Mon Keigh was irrepressible!"
back when i played greenskins the guy I was facing shot his iron breakers pretty close to dead center with both his rock lobbas in one turn, his scatter dice were extremely unfortunate. Effectivly wittled a 20 man iron breaker unit down to like 7 or 8.

Playing Tomb Kings and Scorpions mauled my entire force... started with the war machines at the back, and came into the back of my massive Warrior unit, who panicked from charging skeletons ran into scorpions and died. A bad day for the Dwarfs usually I smash skeles
