Going through the army book, I was wondering about a dwarf force that would march forward towards the foe.
I'm guessing there would be little use for missile weapons, the AoD, but a unit of miners or two would be a surprise.
What is your opinions/thoughts about this?
Thanks in advance.
The anvil would actually be even more useful for this army than you think; you can get D3 units to get an extra move, you could make units ItP so they get the crucial charges, you can slow down people who would flank you.
Thanks, for opening me eyes.
Marching armies usually use the Strollaz runic banner too.
The Land, The Lady, The Light.
I mostly use marching armies now, i often use shooting but it got boring! When ur making an marching army u need at least strollaz rune and AoD, maybe a gyrocopter is usefull to stop the marching of the enemy.
So is it as competitive as say.. an AoD list with mainly sit and shoot? The reason why I stopped playing is because that seems like the only good build now a days. Forgoing the movement phase is not very fun to me.
