I would like to know if anyone uses Ironbreakers, and if so, how do you use them?
Thanks in advance.

In that thread you can find a bunch of usefull information about the dwarven units and therefor, the Ironbreakers as well.
A long with that, there are quite a few different tacticas in the FB Tacticas section
Greatest unit in the whole dwarf army
Ironbreakers are cool because of their chaos warrior-esque save, but because they don't have many attacks they will have to get it from suffering as few casualties as possible.
They are a good unit to anchor your battle line or hold a position, hammerers however are good at that too because they are stubborn. Ironbreakers are nigh untouchable by enemies with str 3, so an enemy horde army, like empire statetroops, skaven clanrats, or goblins, they will have no problem dealing with that.
Before I used to like ironbreakers, but recently I started to like hammerers more because they are stubborn, and immune to fear and terror with the lord.
I think hammerers are good but not super, they are stubborn and immune to fear and terror with the lord but they die so quick!
I mostly give them a 5+ ws against shooting but still they die quick, also in combat. The beautifull thing of ironbreakers is that people how knew them are scared of them and try to avoid them. Sometimes they don't get into combat but you will save alot of points in the game.
I just run my hammerers with shields. Thats a 3+ save and stubborn. It will hold against nearly anything while the lord whacks the enemy with his great weapon, and basically the hammerers just provide him with stubborn.
Ironbreakers do a have a fearsome reputaton, even though it might not be 100% true. They are pretty tough.
I'd have to go with the youngling, the bearded one there. Ironbreakers are OK, the high save does keep them safe against a lot but the lack of either a high number of attacks or higher strength means when they do get into combat, they don't do as much damage as Hammerers can do. They'll probably survive longer though. The other thing is the Hammerer's Stubborn ability does mean you can almost always rely on them to hold in the important combats, unless facing lots of fear causers (though this is negated with a dwarf lord in the unit). Also, Hammerers do have the option to have a 3+ save or the +2S. Both have their uses and good points.
I think I'd almost always go for Hammerers, a few extra points and the unit can take on almost anything and survive.
Thats the hard Question cause Ironbreakers are great in any sitution but i think the hammerers are just slightly better in my view with there additional rules like stubborn, Immune to Fear and tear(with lord), just it comes down to what sitution you in and what army you be playing against.
