    Rangers in marching army????????????

    Hi everyone!!!

What u think about using one unit of rangers in marching army or 2 with Mr Bugman??

I think that it may create disaster in any enemy lines with strolalz's rune they can charge in 1st round then ur enemy will b to busy with killing them so all entire army will b able to march forward easly

In addition I thane may join a unit with brotherhood rune and a oath stone so probably this unit will survive for a long time!

Its a very interesting idea indeed. I have a marching 2k army with a unit of rangers as well. I've yet to try it though, but im really looking forward to it.

Unfortunately, we wont be able to charge on the first turn. You'd have to be out of sight, for one. So you would have to wheel around or out of a forrest. And with two times 6'' move, sadly, that wont do.

Hate to break it to you, but a Thane with a Rune of Brotherhood, cannot take an oath stone as well.

10 inch away from enemies, not in line of sight of enemies, and deployed inside or behind terrain ( you can deploy in forests )

OK what if unit of rangers is behind a hill with strolalz's rune they move 6' then march 6' and in shooting rune of oath and honor it give them 18' of movement. It is theory but possible.

Bit of a waste of strollaz, its better in the heart of your advancing army.
