with the new 8th edition Musician with the swift reform, and the firing of 2 ranks, I was thinking of having huge blocks of quarrellers, being able to do a reform and move back into line with your other infantry blocks, after atleast 2 rounds of full shooting. with the new steadfast/stalwart rule (not sure what it's called) and stubborn if you have more ranks than the enemy, I'd say that crossbows would be a great way to make sure that hording armies get weathered down. so with 2 blocks about 30 quarrellers in two 15 long ranks, you'll get a lot of shots and still have a great chance to get more ranks than the enemy if they reach you.
Well my rant is over, hopefully it will make sense to someone else than me. tell me your thoughts please!
