Is the only Anvil of Doom model available the named guy? Also, what's up with the bellows? Is that required to just field a runesmith with Anvil, Like if I bought it online without that part? Can the Anvil of Doom move?
Also, does anyone know any plastic catapults that I might be able to use instead of the metal grudge-thrower? It's expensive, and I dislike metal units...
I'm thinking my army is going to be pretty shooty and gun-line, would 2-3 units of Thunderers be too many?
Thanks, I'm just thinking about starting Dwarves.
Currently there are no plastic stone throwers that I know of.
For a gunline army, two or three units is a fine number, perhaps even too few. It depends on your choices really.
If any other Dwarf players are interested, I did indeed find some pretty good, SUPER cheap Bolt Throwers and Grudge Throwers.
SIEGE MACHINES Kit #1 1:72
Going to order mine next week. Just looks like it needs a small "Dwarfy height reduction" to work. Along with my Cannon box and a gun-carrage bitz purchase from Ebay, I'm going to have my warmachines ready to go very soon!
ummm... 1:72 is kinda small.. tanks that size are smaller than warhammer horses. are you sure theyre big enough?
otherwise it looks pretty nifty
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
Yeah if you can find those stone throwers and bolt throwers in 1:32 that may just be the height if you can find 1:48 even better but 1:72 is like just abit bigger than warmaster.
If you get the anvil model here's some ides for it. I have 2 anvils so one is all locked down my second one thorek has been glued to a base and the anvil guard too so i can take him as thorek or a standard runelord/smith. The anvil guard i usually use for the captains in my warrior or longbeard units (since I have 4 hahahahaha) and then use the anvil as an objective or scenery
