Well, battle standard bearers are pretty important in a dwarf army. My only problem is that I don't own a model for one. So, I've been busy converting an unused master engineer model to serve as mine, the one that looks like this.
I've made his standard out of cobbled together plastic standards, and have it coming out of his left hand, at the crank-like thing.
All looks good so far, except for one little problem. I haven't found any way to decently cover up the cannon shell. I'm pretty sure that a thane wouldn't be carrying around one, and have tried using sheilds, emblems, and pouches to cover it. None looked good enough. If anybody has any sugestions on how to cover it, or turn it into something a thane would likely have, feel free to share!
