    Infantry Heavy Dwarfs

Hey, so I'm between fantasy armies right now and I was looking at maybe starting up a dwarf army. If I was going to do one it would be just a lot of blocks of infantry with little to no artillery support. I was just wondering how viable that kind of an army was.

Well a dwarf army with only infranty with no range support is viable. Dwarf warriors are not bad maybe a little bit overcosted. But they have the great option of longbeards and hammerers. Hammerers are amazing in my opinion. But I think in competive settings you will have a weaker list and ofcoure and a predictable army.

If you are bringing all infantry make sure to abuse the use of Scouting LongBeards with a Pimped out Scouting Lord.

Also make use of the Strollaz Rune to give you army a pre emptive move..sorta like a tiny vanguard for Dwarves.

    Also Bring some Miners.

Spam the Rest of your Points into 10 point T4 Str5 Dwarven Warriors and you are ready

Thing with dwarves is the enemy usually dictates how you fight since dwarves are so slow, so its nice to have the range to push the enemy to move and reach out before he hits you. No reason not to take organ guns or cannon, I strongly suggest them.

quarrellers can have great weapons, pretty much making them able to operate as ranged or combat so you might as well take a couple of them to help when the enemy out manoeuvres you.

Eventough all infantry army is possible, if you are thinking a more competitive variant, try to put 1 cannon and 1 grudgethrower with some runes on your list.
Dwarfs does not have magic and have limited movement, powerfull shooting, strong infatnry. In addition, eventough you wont be easily broken vs monsters you will have hard time defeating them even with S5 and S6 infantries. Thunderstomp or other abilities will cost you more while you could have easiliy countered them with machines or at least give them fear for a few turns.
