this is already posted in ku's thread, i am thinking of re-doing my ironbreakers. i had chainmail, but i am thinking about a one layer of tin bits, one really thin drybrush layer of brazen brass, one thin drybrush layer of boltgun, and one really thin dry brush layer of mithril (my reasoning for this madness is basically that i like the fact that gromril is a metal that is misterious, and i want my army to have a diffrent take on gromril, then what games workshop does)
what do u think
Mr. Burns: Why is everyone being so insolent today?
Smithers: Well sir, it is christmas...
Mr. Burns: I'll decide when its christmas!
Sounds intresting, different to the normal silver. I've been thinking of doing my IBs differently as well, but that's all a future project. My thoughts was that dwarfs are the best metalsmiths in the know world, surely they'd show off slightly? Add a touch of copper to gromril or use a way known only to them to stain the armour a colour etc.
Good luck, let us see a pic of how you get on.
I thought that gromril was dark grey or bluish-black.
