Sorry I have no WHFB knowledge just yet, and still amidst in learning how to play. And also choose an army at the same time, well atleast research about them before I actually purchase the models.
I want a fresh new army, and not an army that is going to be revamped soon (lol). And was wondering what Dwarves had to offer that no other Fantasy race has! Other than the fact of fiction-knowldge taht dwarves are handy with weapons heh and good gold ofcourse.
I also like their model range such as the Malakai Makaison's Goblin Hewer ^.^.
Would Dwarves be the army for me if I am just starting out WHFB?
Well as many generals might say, then dwarves are a very good starting army. Mainly because its easy to mix an army togehter and its not that hard to know their rules.
Unlike HoC and greenskins which, IMO, have a lot of difficult rules.
They also dont move so much, which I think is good, untill you get the hang of moving around.
This is just a short recommendation though..
I started with Dwarfs myself and was glad that I did. They are tough and rock-hard.
