i cant remember the champions of slayer units (giant slayers??) well ill call then giant slayers anyway
right you have 15 slayers.. make 4 of the giant slayers.. and 1 standerd.. since champions are always allowed to atk at the end of the other players atks u get your 4 giant slayers and your standerd bearer (since someone picks up the standerd) so you always get to atk with them as your trollslayers die:yes:
vampire counts = magic and black knights wrong!
Well it doesn't make them much better...
BTW could you not just dedicate attacks to them... Just like heroes

yes you can dedicate strikes against them. But you have to allocate each hit in advance and the wounds don't cascade. So if one GS takes three wounds for CR it is only one. He has a point though that they are all base higher strength and initiative so they might actually get to strike first occassionally. Not to mention they have more attacks...
The standard cannot attack back, so it's better to just replace the standard upgrafe with another Giant Slayer upgrade.
Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD
You can choose to allocate attacks at the GS, but my friends usually forget about them. When I give out 3 attacks each, they suddenly remember!
