I just have a question;Can we still use the old army book in GW campaigns or do we have to use the new ones, because I can't give up move and shoot
no the new army book is the offical one. you may organise a freidnly game with the old rules though.
to be honest i cant see what the fuss is, the new rules are a huge boost to dwarves with incredible advantages across the board. not using them over the lack of one rule is somewhat pointless in my opinion and besides BS4 is a bigger advantage than move and shoot any day

[16:20] <@Kaiser-> He usually is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> Sometimes it's intentional.
[00:01] <+zubus> i love you, ya skirt wearin nothern monkey! ^_^
I don't play dwarves but I would be happy to let you use the old rules any day of the week.
Indeed, in tournaments and stuff you have to use new rules. Thunderers shoot better, with an effective BS4 as Arkite pointed out, S4, and a -2 AS! These guys are now incredibly strong at shooting and if you give them shields they don't really have to move and shoot anyway... they can withstand the charge with a 4+ AS. And if people say it's a waste of points giving them shields, it's only 1pt per dwarf and you get a 4+ instead of a 6+ AS. Trust me, it's worth it. The new book rules for shooting are actually better.Originally Posted by SHIGGY
