I wanted to make a smaller force, but is this too small?
What would be the best/optimal small force point size for a Dwarf army?
generally id look at 2 warrior units, a warmachine/shooting unit and a thane.
cant see much more going in there :/
spambot kill tally: 79
[16:19] <@Alzer> Arky's right though
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> I know he is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> He usually is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> Sometimes it's intentional.

Maybe 1000 pts is the smallest point denomination for armies... ?
I normally start a new army with 500 points and my mates do the same. They do make for very quick games, but its a good way to get a feel for your new force and what to add in as you expand.
I've found Dwarfs to be very effective at smaller points totals, so you should be OK at 750 points.
Wood Elves 2/0/1
Orcs & Goblins 0/1/0
Next Army - Tomb Kings
500 points sounds like a feasible army size for skirmish type battles.
Essentially, I'm looking to do a small game, short battles, low set-up time, etc.
Perhaps 750 points might be best...that's why I was asking some Dwarf vets what they felt about army sizes and whether or not I could get away with building a 'skirmish' sized force, versus a 'battleforce' size.
Thx for the responses!
