So, after reading the "Are dwarfs boring?" thread and hearing the suggestion for a Dwarf army with Kislev cavalry in it i just couldn't resist looking up the rules for including those Russian Mongols into my Dwarf army. I was wandering before I bought any of the models if someone who has done this before can give me advice on how to play them better, or if I should play them at all. Thank you.

adding kislivites to your list is an interesting idea, one of which ive seen done my self. personally i think it clouds your tactics. giving your self a large group of guys who use completly different tactics tends to draw you away from a true dwarf battle plan. they can however give the army some advantages, like cavelry and and skirmishing forces. but on the whole they are not really essential to a dawi army

I heartily recommend it, the only aber is what you do not get so many cool, wonderful dwarfs and instead are using humies...
Just to let everyone know this is Koth31. I have changed accounts because I have stopped using my old email. I am Proƒet now.
Don't worry Michael, I'll make sure that I include the right amount of guys, no one wants to lower the amount of stocky, goblin busters that they have in their army. I was gonna include just 1 or 2 squads. I know I'm going to include a group of Winged Lancers led by a Boyar. This would give me a squad that lays out 9 attacks on the charge at S5 or 6 not counting the horses. Add on top of that when they charge the opponent has to take a leadership test, and it's just to fun. I think I might back them up with either another hard hitting squad, or add some fast cavarly archers to lessen the number of guys I have charging my dwarf ranks when the time comes. I am currently working on the fluff for this odd combination of armies, but it should be good. I'll try to post it soon.
