You can't be serious. Surely the boyar can do magic and some one else or is that just when they are allies? Maybe I was looking in the wrong kislev book? I will take a look, but still the only reason I would even field kislev are for the mages and a chance for some cavalry since thay are not that great when push comes to shuff.

Yes the only hero is a Boyar and hes got no magical ability. Ask your oppoanant if you can use the ice queen. shes hardly overpowered and gets to use the pretty cool lore of ice.

I don't think that it would be likely for (real) dwarf army to have cavalry..

I agree with some points but I still wouldn't take cav unless I was going to take part in some sort of special scenario or something, same with the wizards. I love the dwarfs just how they are and taking cav would spoil it, although the godspars look pretty cool and so does Boris.

I think they may get some more stuff for SOC (or I hope they do), otherwise it will be only a small contingent etc.

i love kislevites in my 2000 point army list, ill post the list in the appropriate forum, but i tried at first to field the winged lancers/ bowyar, but i didnt like it to much and it was expensive, so then i tried ungor horse archers, holy cow!!!! they are awesome! and gives my natural dwarven none moving-ness time to get to the enemy by making them only take movement, its really cool to have fast calvary in the dwarf army, =) and the best part is they are only 85 points per unit!
anyway, i like em i think they work awesome and fill in a couple gaps for the dwarves. just my two copper, hope it helps.

I would get some horse archers, or indeed some kislev, but there damned expensive money wise. Anyone got ideas on how to make some using plastic sets or whatever?
