Just picked up this model today and wonder if any of you have any hints/tips on the modeling and painting front, as I really want him to be a good centrepiece for my army.
aut viam inveniam aut faciam / I'll either find a way or make one.
Not much to say really, but I'll have a go. Take lots of gold and brown , they go well together. Try to distinguish the King from the 'bearers, use a grey for the beard to make him look old. Use a variety, highlight and washes on the armour.
"Well... that hurt" - Vampire Jon Skellan (Mannfred's right hand man) after being beaten up, falling down an underground waterfall and being impaled by a stalactite.
Paint the parts seperatly. Painting the assemble model will give you a bad result on the shield and interior of the shieldbearers. That's about it =)
