So, as you can see I thought I could make a pretty mean phalanx list for you and I definitely think that I did! The avatar, farseer and wraithlords march up the center. the farseer obviously fortunes the avatar and dooms the juiciest target for the DA to shoot at. The two DA squads with defend should be up front followed closely by the other squads and then the harlequins. Use the defend squads to take charge and then charge the harlies in to mop up. The warp spiders are there to use as rear armour poppers and also to pump out extremely high volumes of S6 shots. Use them to charge squads that are just out of range of your DA, withdraw during your opponents turn, move the DA up and bladestorm. You should do very well against the opponents that you mentioned. The Nid player may just give up, lol.

Units- I have everything in the eldar codex except for wratihguard heavy weapon batteries and prince yriel. I also have the windrider squadron which has the autarch on jetbike, 9 jetbikes and 2 vypers

What happens in escalation? That tends to mess up foot-slogging MCs pretty badly, particularly the Avatar. A disjointed set of reserve rolls can cause enough trouble.

To be quite honest I don't see escalation messing this list up that bad. You will still start off the game with all of the DA, harlies, and the farseer. Basically you would just follow the same plan from the start and advance the whole block of infantry. You should be able to lay down enough fire to take care of anything your opponent has on the board in the beginning and once the wraithlords show up just have them pop any enemy armor / MCs. The Avatar would likely take a back seat in games like this though he should still draw a good deal of fire when he shows up. If anything just use him to hold objectives / table quarters on your side of the board. When the spiders show up they can support anything that is running into trouble or grab table quarters themselves.

The list is potent enough even without the fearlessness that the avatar brings to the game.

I used the elements that youy mentioned that you had just recenlty bought in the windrider box as well as adding a unit of spears for the autarch to roll with. You have a falcon full of harlies, a falcon full of dragons, and 2 serpents loaded with DA. Altogether it is quite an interesting list. Be sure to let me know how it does!

This is a pretty standard phalanx setup for eldar. You have the avatar to make all of your footslogging troops fearless, scorpions for some counter charge CC ability. 2 shooty units of DA and 2 tarpit units of DA. Generally you will want to run the tarpit units out in front of the shooty units by just a tad. You have some warp spiders to pump out all of those S6 shots, try to get some rear armour with them. To finish it off you have to AT wraithlords. The one change that I could see being made is dropping one of the DA squads to get a farseer to fortune the avatar. That choice is up to you as I went for more bodies on the field.

Overall this is a pretty balanced list. The farseer is there to guide the war walkers and the scorpions infiltrate to provide some early pressure. You have 2 squads of DAs in serpents to zip around the board wherever they are most needed and the skimmers are outfitted with BLs to do the vast majority of your tank hunting. You have a good sized group of spiders that should be used for hit and run tactics and hitting rear armour of tanks. War walkers with scatter lasers provide a very high volume of fire that can be even more deadly with guide. Finally I gave you a squad of dark reapers as nearly every MEQ player gets a full body shiver just thinking about them. You are a tad light on AT though you could solve this by switching out the dark reapers for a wraithlord w/ BL+EML, 2x flamers and a 3 man squad of jetbikes. I leave the choice to you as you said not too many vehicles.

Points : 2000 ( 2500 is fine aswell but tend to play 2k more often )

Theme: Balanced Ulthwé please, not over the top though. Im not all that bothered about the fluff. It just has to look nice

Preferances: nothing realy, i do already have a basic army wich was given to me. But im not all to fussed about keeping whats in it. Aslong as its balance and kinda Ulthwé im happy Oooo it has to look good on the board too!
