I would suggest taking fewer Pathfinders. They're awesome, and I like the models, but they just don't kill fast enough. Consider taking 1 squad, maybe 2 if you're going for a stealth theme, but 3 squads in a 1000 point game is probably a little excessive. You don't want bright lances with your guadians. A single shot weapon that desperately needs to hit, isn't something you want to entrust to a guardian due to there low BS. Try taking Scatterlasers or Shuriken Cannons. Also, these guys will benefit majorly from a Warlock. If you plan on footsloging up the middle, take Conceal. If you're planning on sitting them in cover and using the weapon platform, take Embolden. You might consider taking a CC squad for counter charges. Sit them back and wait for the enemy to charge you guardians, then send in you CC squad to wipe out the enemy. Banshees are good vs. Marines, CM, Necrons, etc. Scorpions are good vs. lighter armored infantry. You can upgrade Harlequin to be good at fighting either one. About the War Walkers, you should probably split them into 2 squadrons, so that they can't all be hit at once. Consider taking 2 with Shuriken Cannons/Scatter Lasers, and give the loner Bright Lances for some anti-tank firepower.

hmm okay thanks, I will drop some pathfinders, give a walker some brightlances and drop them off the guardians, add a CC squad.. what about dire avengers? and about guardians? I am not sure of the purpose they should serve, just absorb wounds? I would also like to use vypers/bikes...have no idea how to implement those though and swooping hawks? are they good anti-tank? SOO MANY OPTIONS!!! |

I wouldn't bother with the Autarch's Lasblaster. An Avenger Shuri. Cat. is a much better weapon for only a point more. As stated previosly, Autarchs can't have both a Banshee mask and Mandiblasters. I'd go with mandiblasters since he's accompanying Harlies. I agree about the Fire Dragons, they need a transport to be effective. Drop them and grab a Bright Lance War Walker. You could also give the Falcon to the Fire Dragons, and grab a Shadowseer for your Harlies. Your Harlies could then sit back and wait for the enemy to charge the Dire Avengers. Then you could counter charge. I'm not a big fan of Storm Guardians, you'd be better of with a Pathfinder Squad in my opinnion, but if you are going to take them, they really need Enhance to make up for the Eldar's low strength. The Dire Avengers are fine. They'll do a great job absorbing enemy CC charges. You should give the Falcon Holo-fields, Spirit Stones, and the Shuriken Cannon Upgrade. The Holo-fields and Spirit Stones make a Falcon very frustrating to the enemy. You may also want to add Vectored engines since its transporting CC troops, but thats really up to you.
