Yeah but what isnt good against Guardsman lol. What if you are going against Space Marines. The high AP of the shreiker cannon and the high saves/high leadership of marines pretty much take them out of the game. Fusion pistols will not only let you be mobile, their low AP/high strength are good at killing marines/tanks. I just think pistols will do you better, sometimes you need to go with effectiveness over fluff...and this is one of those cases

Why wouldn't the shrieker cannon allow me to be mobile? And in combat patrol a shrieker cannon has a much better chance of destroying a tank I will get more shots off over the course of the game instead of just 2 from 3" away. And against a MEQ squad, your're telling me that 3 strength six shots a turn from two feet away will kill less than 1 ap1 shot at six inches? Somehow I don't think so.

Like I said. I would take neither DJ's nor fusion pistols. Sure, shoot a tank with it, but then you can't assault anything else. Just fleet to a tank and hit it in CC. You'll roll more than enough 6's to destroy it.

For the points of FP's and DJ's you can buy more kisses which will give you more than enough kills.

Besides, in my experiance, a full squad of harlies with 8+ kisses will have do problem killing a bunch of marines in a single turn.
