I was thinking about taking 10 wraithguard and spirit seer in a unit along with a farseer with fortune and a wraith seer

This gives them a 3+ (with a re-roll) then a 4+ feel no pain (with a re-roll and they are pretty much immune to instant death)

In total its about 600 points but it is hard as hell to kill

On average it takes 330 shots from a bolter to kill 1 guy

I haven't read the Dex in a while but where is Feel No Pain coming from?

You can't re-roll a FNP with Fortune.

I don't get the FNP, however you could use divination to give them a 4+ inv if required, this could be re rolled.

Although for a different roll but just as hard unit warlocks on jet bikes.

You can take a wraith seet to give them a 4+ FNP and fortune alows you to re-roll ANY failed saves

I can't believe gamers nowadays still consider FNP is a save since the BRB and BYB state it extremely clear it isn't

Agreed, they go out of thier way to clearly make it an armour SAVE and invulnerable SAVE. I dont think i have ever seen anyone asking to make a FNP SAVE. FNP is an ability which is basicaly you have taken the wound...but you dont care because you FNP. Unless its covered differntly tucked away in some errata, thats how i roll.

Also FnP has always been treated as a save in my local by everyone, it's even refer'd as a FnP save although I can see where you get the wording issue.
