Wait, is it a Support Weapon Battery or one of those Eldar Heavy Weapon Platform Blister Packs? -_- I am confused what is the difference? What do I each do and which one would be better to attack to my 2 Guardian Squads to take out armored marines?

    It's the small once.
Split your guardian squads into groups of 8 and give each a Starcannon plattform.

Concentrate fire on one squad to take it out then move to the next. ^_^

That list wont work in a hundred year. (srry to say that)

A better list is something like.

    HQ 82
    Farseer
    w/pisto w/CC wpnl
    fortune or guide

    Elites:80
    5 Howling bansees
mounted on a falcon (Thought it did cost 120 or something? w twin linked starcannon

    Troops:283
    8 guardians
    W/starcannon platform
    warlock w/conceal

    8guardians
    W/starcannon platform
    warlock w/conceal

    Heavy support:473
    1 wraithlord with brightlance

    1 Wraithlord with brightlance

    5 dark reapers
    exarch w/eldar missile launcher w/fastshot

    total: 1038

Its a litlle bit over 1000 and I aint really a pro with Eldar but this list should do better then yours.
Use the farseer to either fortune one of your squads or guide the reapers (Altough thy wont need it I think)

The banshees can attack in a flank while the falcon is shooting some troopers assault marines watever.

The reapers can target the troops but the exarch also shoots 2 times a S8 so perhaps using it for bikes or something can be usefull (instant kill)

Your troops just dig themselves in and shoot

The wraitlords stand or walk forward targetting the tanks with there brightlances.

But thats how I would play with them if I played regular Eldar. I aint syaing this is the best way or something but this should give the SM player a rea headache. GL (Y)

However with that statement out of the way, I would say listen to ArchonBjorn. He has a really good tendency to not say stupid things and give bad advice.

Let me guess... this is your army?

Anyway... Can you PM me the point value for a heavy support weapon platform? I don't think its in my Codex: Eldar... unless I retarded and don't see it. Also, if I want to give my Guardian a Bright Lance isntead of his standard Shuriken Catapult, how do I go about doing that? Do I just say that his gun is a bright lance or do Ineed to buy a bright lance seperately? You seem to know a lot (if i wanna beat space marines) can you help me revamp my army list?
I assume you have already bought some of your men, so I won't totally destroy your list. The problem with asking people to redo your army list is they usually base it around their own army (above post?). Ok, about suppost platforms... if you read page 17 or whatever (the guardian entry) you buy one of those, a support battery, NOT a heavy weapon platforms. Hvy weaps are on their own and they carry more expensive weapons, eg: D-cannons.
For what I'm talking about, you but a Bright Lance on the weapon battery, not an ordinary man! you need to buy 2 crew members (count as normal guardians) for the battery. Sorry I don't think I can tell you points costs and stuff cos I think it's against LO and GW rules.

Also, is this just SMurfs in general or a friend with specific stuff in his army? the more info, the better. Hope this helped!

    5. Thou shalt not reassemble a Necron into a washing machine

I have only bought one box of Guardians, not even taken from their frame or primed yet.

You need to get rid of the grenades on your guardians, they are useless. Oddly enough the second list loks strikingly like mine. I only run 1 WL though (for now) and run more banshees in a WS. Also I run the seer council, which is probably my most useless unit...

If you want to beat Marines in a small-point encounter such as this, it's a tall order either way, but the Eldar's best friends in this case are Starcannons, Dark Reapers, Rangers, and speed.
Reapers can take out Marines and their exarch isn't too shabby against armor. Starcannons are highly effective against Marines and will hurt lighter armor, but you will need Brightlances to take out the heavier armor, though a Land Raider is a rare sight in a smaller game.
3-soul squads of Rangers will pin down those assault squads, snipe important units and cause your opponent to waste tons of fire on a pointswise cheap unit with a 2+ cover save when in cover.
Your speed will come in the form of Fleet-of-Foot'ing Banshees, Teleporting Warp Spiders, and Turbo-Boosting Vypers.

You need to remain disciplined in your firing, fluid in your movements, and deceptive in your disposition. If you throw feints and diversions his or her way, your opponent will be chasing you around the board and breaking up his or her forces while you cripple the enemy with a few surgical incisions. This is the Eldar way. ::fear::

Also, please do not just take two wraithlords. It's unfluffy and will get you branded a cheesemonger, as well as hindering your development as an Eldar player.

No it aint my army list I have never used banshees before due to the multiplayer batlles we play at our local club. We prefer using ROFLMAOLOL combos like getting a assasin within a 28 man seer council (he shoots a S5 AP1 shot for each psyhic peep within 12 hint hint ^^ bleep 30 shots XD)

And there should be a other topic around here somewere were me and consular have put a list together keeping it as cheap as possible.

Personnaly I dont give a f**k about fluff srry to say that but if there are like those guys coming to our local club saying. Haha noobs prepare to be owned etc etc then I prefer being cheesy at that moment then being busy with the fluff (Think you will understand that ) And worst part is they come from another store just to irritate us till we play against them so we ussaly get ''club/clan'' batlles. I really dislike playing cheesy but against such kind of players I make a exception.

If you don't care about the fluff, that's OK, I can understand that. I, however, feel that un-fluffy and cheesy are basically one and the same...but that's a matter for a different thread. Nor will I say I've never built a list simply to wipe the smirk off of my opponent's face, that's what I have Necrons for. (Let's see, I glanced your Land Raider seven times, roll for damage...)

An easier solution to someone talking trash before a game is simply to pack up your figures and move to a different table. Playing against an ungracious opponent is not fun, regardless of how well the army list is crafted.

Aight wat use does it have to evade your opponent? Evading is a point of weaknes imho you can just better play against them with the most cheesy list possible (like they do) and whipe the floor with them (dutch expression) Totally slaughtering him and his mates. Ussaly they wont come back within 1-2 months . Then after some months there coming back to irritate us again.
