    2250 Empire for tourneys

    This is the Empire army I plan on taking to the Colonial GT and other Tournaments (I also play Wood Elves and Orcs)

    The army so far has drawn its first game against HE and won the lat 3 against TK, WE, and a hellcannon. I love the army and think it could do very well when I get more practice because I am making plenty of mistakes (ruleswise and gameplay wise). Any commentary?

    That's funny my intentions are pretty much the exact opposite of yours. You are telling me to add things and I am wondering where I will get the points. The pistoliers, FC, annd swordsmen aren't there for killing, they are for setting up charges and threatening flanks, that is all. The Swordsmen are supposed to be very cheap, 28 is too unwieldy for my liking. The point of the shooting detachments is to avoid panic.

    If you had my luck you would realize how little I care about rolling more dice. I oly engage in combats to draw a unit out or know I will almost always win. So spending points to get a small chance of killing more is not favoravle for me.
