This is my first Empire list.. I am not sure if it'll work but I am giving it a try today. Any comment or suggestions?
Warrior Priest w/ Barded Steed, Dawn Armour, Sword of Might, Shield
Warrior Priest w/ Great Wpn, Armour of Meteorite Iron, Seal of Magnus (or something like that )
Battle Wizard Lv1 w/ 2x Dispel Scroll
Swordsman x 19 w/ Full Command (Warrior Priest on foot goes here)
I have yet to figure out the use for these guys.. but hey! an Empire army without swordsman is not an Empire army .. in my theory anyways.
Flagellant x 25

My 'dependable' unit at taking out Warmachine crews... having played all the Elf army, I love these scouting archers.
Inner Circle Knights x 8 w/ Full Command, Banner of Arcane Warding (+ Kurts & mounted Priest)
I know Priest's hatred doesnt affect Kurts but I figure with what he has, he's a great character at accepting challenges... hatred is a bonus too.
Great Cannon x 1
For warmachine sniping or taking out big baddies.. hopefully hydras too.
Helblaster Volley Gun x 1
I've been thinking either putting this in or swap it for a unit of Outriders. I need the anti-armour support before Kurts charges in... especially when they are Always Strike First.

The WP can cast the Hammer of Sigmar on Kurt. That's always a good one.
I can't really have a good look at your list, but one change I can see would be to give your Mtd priest the Shroud of Magnus (5++ save and MR2), and the knights the Banner of +D3 charge range (perfect- I forget the name only now).

I got a game in today versus an all-calvary Dark Elf army with 4 units of Dark Riders, 1 unit of big 10 ASF CoK joined by 1 master & 1 BSB Hydra Banner, and 2 Hydras. The game ended in a near massacre... I have no idea how my Helblaster lived through all 6 turns firing each turn, getting 18+ shots, killing a unit every turn.. that included a Hydra, half unit of the CoK, 1 reversed-ward save mounted Sorceress, 2 units of Dark Riders. Heh, my opponent wasnt too happy about the Helblaster, but at the sametime realized the deadiness of its randomness.
I'm glad to hear of the success of your army, as it is awfully similar to what I have planned for my 2000. I was gonna hold out for 3000 before I got Kurt (going for a regular grandmaster), as I felt throwing him in with a steam tank would eat up too many points (1/3rd!) but if your rocking it, maybe I'll reconsider...
