*I'm not noting point values. This is because at the moment I'm tinkering with the army mechanic generally. This is what I would appreciate comments on (i.e. proposed weaknesses)*
This is meant to be a well-rounded list, with units included to each deal with specific threats. However, it's skewed slightly toward the theme of a small empire band that has been joined by a knightly order.
Templar Grand Master
Captain (barded warhorse)
Wizard (scroll caddy)
4 x Knightly Order (Captain goes here)
5 x Knightly Order (musician)
10 x Handgunner regiment (marksman & long-rifle)
20 x Swordsmen parent unit (command)
& 10 x Handgunner detachment (marksman & long-rifle)
1 x Cannon
4 x I/C Knights (Grand Master goes here)
5 x Pistoliers
12 x Ricco's pikemen (dogs of war unit)
First up, Knights are a 5+ unit, and detachments can't take a command group.
How many pts is this whole list?
As for pointers, drop the marksman and rifle, and make that detachment two, maybe of seven each. Otherwise, your units don't look too bad, but I'd recommend at least one R&F unit- they're like the bread and butter of the Empire force.
I'll have a few more once I know how big this force is.
