    2,000pt Carrburg Reserves

    Changes in GREEN

Hi again all! I've made some changes, using feedback and added a few opponents to the list. I also noticed my previous list was a little illegal (too many special choices). I've increased both magic strength all-round as I was still getting blasted to peices by the Dark Elves and Tzeentch.

    Dwarves - All-round standard
High Elves - Star Dragon and NO shooting
    Tzeentch Daemons - Average/heavy magic
Dark Elves - Very heavy magic, quite a bit of shooting
Undead - Heavy magic, but only ever uses magic for summoning
Orcs - Not much magic, massive amount of infantry
Night Goblins - Standard, heavy magic

The Templar Grand Master obviously goes with the Knights. Warrior Priest moves depending on the opponent and the Battle Wizard hides for dear life.

    Templar Grand Master
    Full Plate Armour, Shield, Lance
    Barded Warhorse
    Laurels of Victory, Holy Relic

    Warrior Priest

    Battle Wizard
    Extra Level
    Dispel Scroll, Dispel Scroll

    Battle Wizard
    Extra Level
    Seal of Destruction

    20 Swordsmen
    Full Command

    5 Handgunners (detachment)
    6 Halberdiers (detachment)

    Tzeentch Daemons - Average/heavy magic
Dark Elves - Very heavy magic, quite a bit of shooting

Wow. That is some variety you face there. The best way to be sure you can beat any of them at once is to make sure your list remains well balanced. I think you already knew it, but I thought I'd say it anyway.

The Templar Grand Master obviously goes with the Knights. Warrior Priest moves depending on the opponent and the Battle Wizard hides for dear life.

    Templar Grand Master
    Full Plate Armour, Shield, Lance
    Barded Warhorse
    Laurels of Victory, Holy Relic
Looks like a pretty solid build. A weapon can be nice to give to him though.

    Warrior Priest
    Great Weapon
Armour of Metoric Iron, Icon of Magnus
Personally, a build that I like is a GW, Hvy Armour, and the VHS. Cheap, and a surprisingly good assassin (more surprising for your opponent though).

    Battle Wizard
    Dispel Scroll, Dispel Scroll
The classic scroll caddy. An excellent choice.

    20 Swordsmen 1
    Full Command

    10 Halberdiers (detachment)
Looks like a good unit, though maybe drop the detachment to seven.

    20 Swordsmen 2
    Full Command

    5 Handgunners (detachment)
    5 Handgunners (detachment)
Interesting choice here. Personally, I'd give the other swordsmen unit one of those detachments, or the greatswords.

    20 Greatswords
    Full Command
Not a bad unit here, but I'd give it a couple of detachments somehow.

    10 Handgunners
    Marksman
Generally a marksman is taken to get a cool gun. Mainly the repeater handgun or the long rifle.

9 Knights of the Inner Circle
    Full Command
    Standard of Arcane Warding
Another banner that works well is the Steel Standard. I think nine of them with the TGM is getting towards "unit of doom" status, so consider dropping one. With the extra points (and the three or so halberdiers if you drop some) you can get a cc detachment for the Swordsmen 2 unit.

    5 Outriders
    Outrider Champion

    5 Pistoliers
    Outrider, Repeater Pistol
Musicians are a must-have for pistoliers. Maybe drop the outrider champion?

    Cannon
Nice addition. I see you're facing a star dragon.

    Helstorm Rocket Battery
I wouldn't rule out the helblaster volley gun. Very nice piece that. But the rockets are a nice counter for big infantry units.

    1986pts Total
    Hope that helps.
