Hey guys, I haven't posted a list in a while so here is a small 1000pt army I've rounded up. I'm expecting to play Lizardmen, Tombkings, and maybe WoC. Give me some ideas on how to make this more rounded. I was thinking of dropping one of the heroes for a wizard. (should i?)
-Great Hammer, Armor of Meteoric Iron
-Full Plate Armor, Sword of Might, Enchanted Shield
Knights of the Inner Circle x5:
-Full Command, Inner Circle
I have a lot of models so give me suggestions as long as it doesn't involve Spearmen.

At 1000 points, magic doesn't tend to be too much of a problem unless your opponent's being really specific in going into offensive magic. You do what you want there. A wizard with the VHS instead of the captain might be cool.
You could then give your WP the SoMight and the maybe the Enchanted Shield. I really like common items in small games, especially when I'm using the Empire in a game (because they're cheap for us).
For you R&F, I'd say you don't want Handgunner detachments bigger than five. You can then have a small unit which can fire a few shots, then engage later without getting in the way of anything. Plus, they're cheap. Combat detachments also work really well. Eight-10 Swordsmen, Halberdiers, or Free Company are good to have.
The KotIC aren't a bad unit. Maybe drop the IC upgrade, to allow you to get an outrider with a repeater pistol for the pistoliers. Your call there. Both can do pretty well.
People tend to put in units of 6 swordsmen as detachments (3 wide, 2 deep), as they get more mileage then hand gunners.
Well i do anyway XD

im thinking that maybe units of 10 handdgun detachments may be aggrevating moving too keep up with the parent swordsmen. break the detachments too two units of 5 each and have a stand alone unit of 10. another suggestion - drop the inner circle, musician in the knights, and enchanted shield for a normal shield freeing up 35 points. im guessing the heroes are going in the sword units so drop them too 19 so they fit on bases there another 12 points.
47 points too play with too get yourself a fighting detachment of free company or watever u fancy
thanks for the responses guys I think i have a good set up now
