My worry is that this lists magic def is not quite up to par, any ideas/thoughts? All comments greatly appreciated. thnx
I've been running a melee list of late, and I've found it to be a lot harder than a balanced or shooty one.None too bad. Maybe the Sigil of Sigmar could be useful. Whilst I'll admit to never having used it in a normal game, I'm not sold on its usefulness, especially in a situation where you'll want to hit quickly (I assume he'll be going with the knights).Warrior Priest, Warhorse, Barding, heavy armour, shield and Hammer of Jugdement :135:This one's illegal sadly, as you can't have a magic banner and any other magic item. Further, I'm none too knowledgeable on BSBs, sorry, as I've never used one.BSB, Griffon Standard, Full Plate, Sword of Battle :148:Looks good.Swordsmen x20, Full HQ, detatch 9 FC 3x3, and 5 archer (BSB goes here) :230:Should do well. Drop a knight if you find yourself strapped for points.Knights x7, Full HQ, Banner of Steel (Mounted WP goes here) :210:Nice unit, though I always prefer to have an extra head in my unit to a PoD.Flagellant Warband x15, Prophet of Doom :160:The kind of unit that I use regularly. Looks good.Pistoliers x5,Musician,Outrider with rep pistol :114:Not too sure why you have two Cannons in your melee-oriented force.Great Cannon
Great CannonIntriguing. Personally, I don't run this thing in my lists, but if you want something to pack a mean punch, this should do well. But if you want to have a bit more ranged support, then a Helblaster might be better suited to the army. It should also give you points for a scroll caddy (a Lvl1 wizard with two scrolls).Steam Tank
If you can squeeze in a third R&F unit, that should give you a solid combat base. If, say, you decided to drop the Stank and possibly both Cannons, you should easily fit a caddy, a Helblaster, and another solid unit (Greatswords, more Swordsmen, etc). Though that's up to you, really.
Hope that helps.
