    2250 pts, new to empirE

Hello guys. Came up with an idea, need advice, only thing is noooooo artillery. Here is the list (pointers appreciated)

    Arch lector - 227
Heavy armor, enchanted shield, barded warhorse, holy relic, sword of battle

    Warrior priest - 119
Armor of the metioric iron, extra hammer

    Warrior priest -142
Dawn armor, sword of might, shield

    Captain - 133
Fullplate, bsb, shield of gorgon, hammer of judgement

    State troops - 305

25 swordsmen with command (bsb goes here)
    10 archers
    10 free company

    State troops - 300

25 shielded spearmen with command (1+ armor save priest here)
    10 archers
    10 free company

    State troops - 275
25 halbreders with command (other priest here)
    10 archers
    10 free company

    15 huntsmen with markmen -105

    Knights - 262
10 strong (arch lector goes here)
    Standard and seargent guy

    5 pistoliers - xx

    Outriders - 121
    5 strong
    Leader with grenade launcher

    Outriders - 121
    5 strong
    Leader with grenade launcher

The plan is a steady advance with the huntsmen deployed on the same flank as the cavalry. Simply fold that flank and then keep advancing in the center

Well I think maybe you would do better with some greatswords to hold the center and advance the other blocks on infantry on either side. As for the detachments you cannot take archers as a detachment I thought? The only way you can take archers is as huntsmen, and your allowed only one selection of huntsmen. You should instead take handgunners, so they can punch wholes in the armour and toughness of whoever your blocks of infantry are charging into. And also I just hope your outriders and pistoliers dont run and cost you the game.

I checked the rules and nm the stuff I said about the archers. I forgot you can field multiple archers.
