Hey all. Haven't been in these parts (Fantasy) for a while, seeing as I've been quite busy with my IG army. I decided recently to revisit my old Empire army and revamp them a bit to make a fun and (potentially) competitive army. The theme I went for was an army of Crusaders / Pilgrims en route to a holy city / shrine. Basically I tried to make it a medieval feeling army based off the first through third Crusades. Any input and help would be appreciated. Hopefully one day I'll have it all painted and converted (Flagellants are being made into a motley looking group of pilgrims and the greatswords are being modeled off old 3rd ed bretonnian models mixed with some of the Middenheim Teutogen Guard models).
Until then, here's the list for your review! Thanks!

It kinda lacks in long range firepower and magic, but the hope is to close with the enemy quick enough to minimize any potential losses due to shooting.

If you win games against Nids with flamers (aside from the Inferno Cannon on a Hellhound), you're playing against opponents with stupidity of impressive magnitude.
I don't believe Luthor Huss can join a unit that is non-sigmar and thus can't join or lead the White Wolf knights.
I might drop the Halberders and go with hand gunners instead with a marksmen with either a long rifle or repeating handgun. And drop the free companies for another detatchment of missle troops. That way you have one 40 strong unit of shooters to support the advance of your knights and your greatsword advance.
Replace the greatswords X-bow detachment with Longbowmen, since the X-Bows can move and shoot and you need to advance as quick as you can anyhow.
Your taking a risk on while having Warrior Priests is always good, it might help to drop one for a captain/bsb in case any of your troops are panicked and retreat you have the BSB there to help them rally. I saw one battle where a empire army was doing really good, but eventually got beaten and while the WP helped, a BSB may also have helped.
