[Strassa]

This is the very first list I used with the new book I cant point up because I dont have the book with me and Im at work I am putting this up at the request of others so if im off a little be gentle lol

The AL was strictly support using his bubble prayers if any of the warrior priest in nerby units failed to cast thiers it worked like a charm. With the celestail and the prayers are troops are freaking awesome my horde of spear ate up a horde of temple gaurd for breakfast and the horde had regen (unfortunately I couldn't get the flaming attacks) I just did so many wounds to him it was rediculous. This is the list I used to the best of my memory but I have changed it quite a bit adding more warrior priest and taking out some stuff Ill put my other list on soon because I have 150 points i have no idea what to do with.

Thanks for posting the list, and ya the warrior priest in a horde looks like a nasty unit. A couple of questions:
First, how good is the war alter? It looks promising on the paper, but i haven't tried one and was wondering how it plays.
Second, New HBVG. I love the old ones, and the new ones looked like the same punch with less chance of blowing up.
Third, and last, detachments, good or bad? I have mixed feelings right now, while the countercharge is nice, they are small and free kill points to anyone that charges them. Did they preform well in your games?

i love the war alter however I think you should only ever use it as a supporting unit I dont plan on my war alter ever getting into combat thats why I take it bare bones. HBVG seems pretty awesome I have yet to use it. As for detachments I picked up empire way back when because of the detachments so I will be biased toward them and with the new buffs they are even better now, however they do take some finesse to use. just try to make sure you're fighting on your terms I konw thats easier said than done but yeah....
