    Illegal. Grand Masters are Lord-level characters, and you are not allowed to have a Lord in a game of less than 2000pts. Though, going by the price and equipment, he seems to be a Seneschal, which is legal. Could you please rename him?

    Second, you cannot have Free Company as Detachments in the Army of Middenland. The things aren't even on the list!

    The Swordsman unit size is also a little odd (19 total (18RnF and the Champion) would be preferable if the Seneschal is going to join the unit, 20 total otherwise)

    Also, halberdiers do not make as good parent units as Spearmen and Swordsmen.

    The Standard of the White Wolf is also, IMHO, a tad of a waste. The Knights have decent enough armour saves against most things, and the things that they don't have a decent save against are too high of a St for the banner to matter anyway. I'd give them a War banner.

    Some food for thought. Make the list legal and then we'll see about making it really nasty ^^

    Hmm...

    Apart from Detachments, you don't utilize any of Middenland's real advantages over the Cult of Ulric (ie. Wizards, Crossbows).

    I remade your list using the Cult army list:

    Advantages over your old list:
    Flanking units have Ws4.
    Flanking units have Great Weapons instead of Halberds
    Flanking units are both ten men instead of one 8 and one 6.
    Priest's Prayer is more powerful (an extra D3 to the Power Level - not that the Prayer would go through anyway unless your opponent has no magic defense and fails on 2D6)
    45 points more to spend (so a total of 52)

    Disadvantages in comparison with your old list:
    No Detachments. You have to rely on ordinary flank charges with your GW-armed Warriors.
    Use Light, Beasts, Metal instead of Heavens
    NecroLords: Use at least one Death Mage
    Brets: Use Peasants&Damsels
    Skaven: Don't use Skryre SAD

    Ive thought about useing the Cult of uric list but i dont really like it as i would miss detachments and me swordsmen but thanks for the reponse.

    Any one else got any thing to say??

    What is there to miss with moving from Swordsmen to tin-can WoU? 1 point of Initiative isn't exactly the most important thing in the world when the block's mission is to hold, not kill. The killing is done by lightly armoured, heavily armed flankers.
