Hi, just a quick question as I haven't got my army book with me...
Are steam tanks immune to poison?
The rulebook states that it is a warmachine, in the steam tank section. The Rulebook states that warmachines are immune to poison (see rules for poison, overleaf- can't be bothered getting my book).
Therefore, it would appear unto me that our Steam Tanks art beith immune unto poisoned attacks.
AFG is correct. The Empire Army Book page 50 states that the Steam Tank counts as a Warmachine, and the BRB page 96 (the end of the "Poisoned Attacks" section) states that Warmachines are immune to poisoned attacks.
Would be nice though, wouldn't it? Steam Tanks and I do not get along.

Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

You wouldn't be the only one. I had a 600 point Lorenz game against Tankmaster. I used a Steam Tank for a surprise and something different. It really rendered his Skinks useless (serve him right for placing a big lake outside my deployment zone).Would be nice though, wouldn't it? Steam Tanks and I do not get along.
