I'm just asking whether this would be good.
Wizard, Lore of Shadow-Steed of Shadows (default spell)
Vann Horsmanns speculam, sword of fate.
Would this be ideal for killing enemy generals, lone heros and other characters with souped up stats? Its quite expensive but the fact some combat character is gonna swap stats with soime weak wizard is quite amusing. Is there other combos that would do teh same job for cheaper or anything?
Sorry to state the obvious, but you would need a wizard lord for that combo to work. the sword of fate and VHS combo costs more than the fifty points allowed for a battle wizard, so you'd need a lord. At that point it would be rather expensive to send an unarmoured wizard lord chasing after close combat.... good way to lose the lord in my book
Oi! Get off me beard!
We've been talking about this IRl, and the Sword of Justice (the re-rolly wounds one) would work almost equally as well.
If it works, it normally works pretty well. Best use of the VHS is on the weakest character you can manage. Thus id rather equip it on a Battle Wizard (hero) than Wizard Lord (lord).
And id give sword of striking to allow you to hit on 2's! *laughs hysterically*
i Also love the lvl1 lore of beasts wizard using default spell "Bears Anger" to rip unit asunder!
fun.....so much fun to be had
