Couln't find any threads about this one, so here's one!
Does anyone use the griffon on the general and in what point games?
Would he be feasible in 2K?
Lets have a look at the lille bird/cat:
The model is really nice
It's stats are pretty nice too
It's point cost is so-so..
It can fly! and has terror
Though large target (a plus AND minus)
I would say that it is a nice mount choice, although maybe too expensive in 2K.. Of course if grey seers ride the bell in 2k, why shouldn't we field this one?
We can compare it to the Imperial Dragon (Generals cant take it, but anyways). The dragon hashas got :
+1WS, +1S, +1T, +2W, -2I, +1A, +1Ld for 120 more points. The initiativ of the griffon is pretty nice, matching elves and daemons, etc..
My opinion on the subject can be found here:

So yes, I think it is worth the points, even in 2k pts. (depending on the army build, of course).
The above posts says it all really. A few threads down, there is one similar to this, so I think it's best if I locked this one for the time being, as much as I hate to lock a thread in a forum with this little activity.
If anyone has any particularly strong feelings on the matter, feel free to PM me.
