Hi all !
I'm looking at my armybook, and can't answer to this question : are the D6 hits caused by Soulfire of my Warrior priest (page 53) distributed as for a normal shoot ? or can I target some models particularly (can I hit a champion or a character my Warrior priest is in base to base contact with) ?
Thanks for your answers !
The armybook says: "All enemy units in base contact with the priest suffer ..."
So only in base contact!
I still have to try this function in a game, so far i just stuck with the "unbreakable" one.
Yes of course, only ennemy in base contact, but my question was do I have to distribute hits like for a shoot ? Sliver said it doesn't target a model, but a unit.
So, if the targeted unit is five or less models, I can probably hit a character...
if it was five or less models, then you would probably need to distribute like shooting. at least thats what i think

Mh, it says nowhere that it's distributed as shooting, so isn't there a default rule, somewhere?
Well I'd assume the "as per shooting" means it works exactly as if the models were lost in the shooting phase to say handgunners. The only big differnce this makes is that if soul fire knocks off enough modles, it causes a PANIC CHECK!
Oh, my bad, miss read topic. So it DOESNT say in the book that it counts as like a base contact shooting? Well thats my theory out.
