I'm presently starting my first Empire army. As I am going for a Hochland themed army, I was attracted to the rough riding Hunters of Sigmar as my default knightly order for patrolling my forests.
However, I find I'm am at a bit of an impasse when it comes to heraldry and order color themes. The only picture I've seen is not very informative...
Does anyone have any information regarding the Hunters? Are they really as ragtag as their description would lead one to believe? Or is there at least a unifying color scheme to be found under the mud of their many travels?
Thanks for any help that might be provided.
Have you seen this on the GW Uk website

It appears to show a black shield with small alternating black and white squares on the border. There emblem is a gold imperial cross with a white twin tailed comet overlaid. Also has a streak of blood on it, but don't think its part of the heraldry!
Armour is a simple pale silver type, that has been worn over time and is splattered with mud. They carry all their blankets and supplies into battle, as they are outdoors alot.

AH! I hadn't realized that was the twin tailed comet! I wasn't sure if it was just some battle damage or something...
Yea, I plan on modeling a lot of them without helmets, with bedrolls and supplies and plenty of wear and tear, but now I have an idea of what to do for their shields...
and I suppose I'll do a simple black and white color scheme to match the trim of their shields...
thanks for pointing that out. I guess sometimes all one needs is another set of eyes.
