umm i got a empire army 2000 points and i want to choose out of kurt helbourg or karl franz what do u reckon guys?
I would play neither at this level. an empire general is so much more fitting for the points.
I agree with u but .... I short of money and i used him in my 1500 point games and he works quite well good leadership and great ws good movement with his mount and handy when he rides with my knights but i guess maybe a general could be used i don't know but anyway i want to know whos better kurt or karl
It wasn't a proper game of course but i was just testing him
Kurt has no wardsave. He will die to too many things. a great hammer against infantry, he will get assassinated by anything faster than him.
But if i was playing a 3000 point game do u think either is worth it/
My captain has a hmm thinks its 2+ armour save and a 6+ ward save i like him as a unit 6+ ward is the best i could do i,with points left and sword of power boositng his str to 6. But i really want a another general . Like i could make my captain a general getting him 100 point instead of 50 of magic stuff and boost armY with units but i really wanted him sitting with my swordsmens. Anyway whats your thinking on this should i make my captain a general?
If you use a mounted character, I like to take a Templar Grand Master with a Lance, Holy Relic and Laurels of Victory. Kurt Helborg wounds automatically and ignores armour saves, but the TGM has a good ward save and is S6 on the charge - and is a fair bit cheaper to boot.

hmm i see your logic templar get ouite close in stats and equipment to kurt when you give him what u said but my knights a reiksguard so.....kurt is my grand master...
also whats about karl franz most people think its unfair to use him but anyway each army has its own power house and dosen't really cost much for what he does
