For those that don't know, sons of manann are an empire knightly order dedicated to, ya know, manann; they wear turquoise and white armour and are known to use tridents in battle.
So's there any warhammer kits out there that have tridents on the sprue (plastic preferably). Or would plasticard be the best bet? For those interested, I'm gonna go with the knights box and use DE corsair torsos for the sea dragon cloaks, and tridents if feasible
Nah, there aren't any tridents on GW sprues. I think it would look a little silly on the models as well. Where's the background come from for these guys? I can't really see Knights paying homage to the god of Oceans- water isn't quite their forte, rather the opposite really...
I found 'em on a warseer thread, he gives "Crusade Empire army list, Citadel journal, issue 43" and "Empire knightly orders article, WD 310" as the sources for these guys. I'm probably gonna go with just the inner circle knights using tridents, two-handed style so I can say they're great weapons ruleswise.
