Hey, my friend wants to play Empire and sci-fi city is having a buy 1 get 1 free sale on everything so its like crazy. Anyhow they have a Middenheim Seige Defenders Army that I could get for free if i buy the ogre kingdoms boxed set.... the question is... is this boxed set useable for starting an empire army? I didn't say an empire army boxed set in the store anywhere, so I'm a little confused. Any help? Thanks.
oi, for a standard Empire army, there's a lot of stuff in there he wouldn't really want... but simpliy put, you still get more good stuff in there then you would elsewhere. it's like the starter set, you get a lot of orcs you don't want, but getting all those Empire stuff for almost free is a better buy then getting each part sepertly
that's the thing about perfection, it can only get worse.
Yes it is an useable army, IIRC it was the Empire Middenhiem boxed set for SoC. Completely useable with either normal Empire rules or using the Middenhiem rules from SoC book.
