I played the Battle of Black Fire Pass a couple days ago and it was great.I personally like battles were I am hopelessly outnumber. I was wondering does anyone know any great battles with or against our mighty empire?

The battle at hel fen (sp?) was a big battle including the empire against the undead. The great war against chaos was also a large battle with the empire. As well as the seige at aldorf where I think it was vlad von carstine who was killed.

Battle of the River Reik where Sigmar fights Nagash.
Battle of Praag where Magnus the Pious fights Asavar Kul The Ever Champion.
Battle of the Screaming Hills where the Arch Lecter's army is destroyed by Archaon and the Sigmarite leader is corrupted.

It is best to find the old timeline from the 4th/5th edition army book.
