The Wizard Topic!

since you where just called on the wizard lords use here, i assume you've played some games with him. as you can certainly see, some of us are confused on his use. how do you use him? why was he a good choice? pretty much all the questions the first post covered.

I'm interested in getting an Amber Wizard for my new Empire army, and apparently they can summon beasts? So could I buy a beast (ie from the hoardes of chaos range) to represent the fact he's just summoned?

It's really confusing!!!

sorry dude, you can't summon anything. i don't think there's any spell in warhammer that involves summoning a model onto the field. you can become a bear though, if you want to use some beast models you can use the bear model well the spell is cast on them.

I think he is taking about Hordes of Chaos. VC can summon skeletons, and other goodys.

oi, how could i forget the undead. i've been playing to much warcraft, tried to remember if any army could summon a doom gaurd or spirit of vengence type model.

i take 2 damsels in 2000 points, mainly as defense, but mistress of the marsh and master of stone/wood can also swing a game your way

sorry, this is an Empire forum. not saying you shouldn't have posted, but can you say what a damsel and a mistress are, magic wise in a nutshell? they don't just line up with a wizard and wizard lord do they?

Well you said "i don't think there's any spell in warhammer that involves summoning a model onto the field." He misunderstood and so did you! We all make mistakes.
