How should I expand my army? I have the models from the Warhammer boxed set, one box of knights, 2 wizards (one mounted, one not, both from the same blister), and one captain (bought separately so I could have a full command for my spearmen).
I have the army book.
I was playing around with Army Builder, and it looks like the Empire battalion would be a good addition, and it's cheap (yeah I know, GW and saving money!).
This will be my first fantasy army. (I play Imperial Guard in 40k, so this seems like quite a deal dollar wise).
i would suggest flagellants, if you can buy 2 boxes. they are cheap and will never run. great for stopping other troops or knights. other than that im not sure. knights are always a good idea. i have the opption of running 24 knights if i wanted, but it is over kill and rather cheesy. hope this helps.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
I wouldn't suggest flagellents, get another core choise first. I would get one or two boxes of soldiers and make them into swordsmen (or halberdiers, if you want). Then some artillery, great cannon/mortar.
By day he fought with sword and shield.....
By night he fought with pen and parchment.....
He was....The Warrior Poet.......
Fear the ANZAC Clan!!!!!
ORDER OF THE SHADOWY FLAME!!!
Do you have uber micro...????
hey sgt screwball welcome to empire and warhammer fantsay.
warrior poet is right, forget about the certain specials till you have you general and cores set up first. the battlion box is a great start, few boxes of the empire miltila would help,
Is there any theme your going after? a all infantry army?, knight army? artillary army? or a allround army?, the allrounder works great.
I agree with Worrior Poet, give yourself a strong core another unit of regular and a boc a free company for detachments. Then go for a cannon ( aim for at least two). One is a must two will mean you will get the job done). Then the pistoliers, too versatile to go into. That should keep ypur brushs wet.
Welcome on board.
