Im a little confused, the kislev allied contingents first sentance in the rules section of the annual / pdf seems to indicate you can have a whole force from the list..... can you?
Yes you can, although, there isn't enough there to make a diverse army.
Ah, thanx I was thinking about an army almost entirely of boyars and the archers with great weapons, they seem almost the ideal middle unit (like space marines balance assult and range)
No, I seroiously don't recommend it. It's much to specialised, just go for normal empire.
Actually I think it would be fun to have a all Kislev army, because they symbolize the mongol army. I think it would be very unique, because the Kislev have great medium calvary with awsome new rules like the "Glorious Charges" rule, and Kossars have the same Ballistic Skill as well as great weapons and the Steady in the Ranks rule. However, the Kossars have lower Weapon Skill and Leadership and lack the all-important Stubborn rule that makes Greatswords so attractive. Most of the calvary has cheaper points, and I'd say better calvary.Originally Posted by Cairocopter

But I still think there are major gaps in the Kislev army, theres not enough variety.Originally Posted by Magic69
