Greeting to my fellow Elector Counts and Grand Masters. I have finally begun aquiring my cult of ulric army, and beyond the easy part (buying Teutogen Guard and White Wolf Cavalry ) I am a little puzzled.
How would you gives model warriors of ulric ? I've heard that free comany does great (along with a major bits box) and a few hundreds of white wolf sprues. Also someone once pointed out that the chaos marauders could fit in here also again with mixed bits.
The same goes for the Hunting Hounds and Wolfkin.
Any thoughts ?
Yes, FC and white wolf spures are great... you could use some regular state troops for the men, to make them look more organised plus the hammers. The Marauders would look very out of place because they have no shirts on... and its very cold in the middenheim mountains.

Hey, I agree with both of yous, I think that free company or state troops with white wolf heads would be ideal but truthly i cant think of anything else that would suit them more.
I am considering making a army of middenland but with the stupied update that SoC armylists are banned from being used in tournments is putting me off even tho i havent been to one yet.
Still good luck man.
I used goblin wolf rider wolves for the wolves, I used some bits to make the champion, he has a spear , kinda acts as a prod type looking thing.
I would suggest looking at the Mordheim range, some AMAZING midden/ulric looking models, can act as champions and what not.
I cant remember if they have wizards as an option, but there is a fifth edition empire mage that has a huge wolf cloak and a big spear that fits in really well with the theme. With a little work he can also pass for a priest.
Thats all I can think of at the moment.
Good stuff, I forgot about the mordheim miniature range. I'll look into it, and post my descision and some modeled figs.
