The Empire offers an amazing ammount of "customize-ability". This makes me very curious to know what Provinces people are modelling and why.
I for instance am building a Nordland Army. They will be called the Nordland Imperial Sea Gaurd. The heroes have nautical type names. They use the Knightly order of the Leviathan. And my Militia are from The Nordland Fraternity Club. This is all drawn off of my own home town. I nice little fishing village on the Atlantic. Bring it on Norsca!
I am building a list for The Last Sons of Sudenland, the last reminants of the decimated Solland (Sudenland) Province; now a part of Wissenland, controlled by the whore Elector-Countess Emmanuelle von Liebwitz; striving to rebuild and restore the ancient Province to it's former glory (and with a Runefang of their own).

Well I at first wanted to make an Ostland then I went with Ostermark which I of course changed again to Nuln and last but not least I'm aiming at Reikland...for now at least  . Really I just like the paint scheme and the fluff of it basically being able to choose any unit you want plus the Carroburg Greatswords are really nice too.
Is it me or does any other necron player get annoyed when they see people saying "Necrons eat souls". How is that even possible as souls are part of the warp and necrons want nothing to do with it? Eh probaly me just me being picky.

I'm in midst makinga Stirland Religious Army, but not the crazed fanatics mainly composed of flagellants type, more like the righteous paladin on a holy quest to crush all evil type, so mainly swordsmen with greatswords as a special and knightly orders helping out. As for gunpowder I'm sticking with my trusty hellblaster volleygun, which is great fluffwise 'cause my faction cannot afford heavy expenses and makes with what it always has possessed, which is a reason I refuse to take items better than common, 'cept for my orders taking a steel banner... its an heirloom >.>

I can currently field inxs of 3000pts and i have almoast every option in the army book(i am yet to get some outriders, but i will).
Currently my knights are of the Blazing Sun but I am tempted to do a 2000pt Crusader army from Stirland The Might of Morr, The Knights Raven complete with grand master and several Death Wizards.
or possibly a marienburg mercanery army with lots of pikemen, ogres and Duelist's.
or perhaps what i need is a nice kislevite allied contingent.
or perhaps i will get...............
I too am considering a Kislevite aliied contingent. The Kossars with their ability to shoot and then come at you with Great Weapons is pretty cool. I also love the Lore of Ice that comes with the Ice Queen. So many options...
I was just going to do my own province but since i suck at making up fluff, I decided to do a Nordland army just liked there colours and fluff and do to the fact they get assaulted by chaos raiding parties all the time and i happen to play chaos alot these days.
Altdorf reikland and Carroburg. My army is Count Albrecht Rommel's frontliners currently mustered from all over the reikland including it's major cities. The basic storyline is theres a vampiress out there that used o be his wife and she killed his sons vengence will be his. it's just that simple.
