Heh. I just saw that this subforum is completely devoid of life. I mean Threads...

Anyway, as the title suggests, is there anyone out there interested in meeting in central Europe? Of course I'm thinking Germany here, natch. Kaelis Ra and me met at this years Games Day Germany. This could be a suitable setting for a meeting.

So, just for the record -and without even thinking about planning a meet -is there anyone fond of the idea?

We are going to meet up, not just 2 people! It's gonna be all of LO invited! I am interessted, altough I havn't gotten any money, round now... The only way I know of is that I have a vacation in austria in a while, there I could take a train depending on the location.

I dont think there is a need for a European Meet-Up. As long we can arrange a meet-up in UK. Most people in the hobby comes from UK and that is the perfect place, I belive. UK is the centerpiece in that kind of Hobby when it comes to the peoeple involved with it.

Well I would think that having an area for "European Meetings" except UK is a tad bit to big area for easy arrangement. If it was divided into subgroups I could see more use of it but now, from South of Italy to Northern part of Norway? Thats a big area. Why do UK get their own group? ;-)

This is not a bad idea, we could meet at the Drakenburg in DÃ¼sseldorf. I done not know where you could stay over night at cheaply, but they do have a hobby bunker with lots of room to game in.

me and my buddies are holding a relaxed all-inn 2 day tournament first weekend of april.
We already have quite a diverse public showing up, including Fins an Poles...
Of course, everybody off LO willing to participitate is more then welcome.

I am staying in the UK, but I still do not think that we don`t need other European places to meet up. There is no reason to avoid ANY other country. And many people can not afford a UK weekend.
I would go to a meet up in Germany, Finland, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Russia etc. anywhere if I will stay there or close enough.
I beleive this thread is a good, community focused piece of the INTERNATIONAL LO forum.
