It's a revision of one of my old Infantry lists. This isn’t for competitive play and fluff wise is a light infantry recon force based in Mountains/Woodland/City fight so I want to steer clear of vehicles (more for a change from the norm than anything else)

It’s done well in the past against some nasty looking lists but I’m always open for ideas. I have 21 whole points to spare. I was thinking 'Vox' for a few select units but, hey, we'll see...

Cowboys Platoon - 292pts
PCS, Power Sword, Bolt pistol, 2 Flamers ((yes he has a cowboy hat))

I might combine these squads, I might not. I’m a bit iffy about combining without Commissars in there but hey, you never know.

Jokers Platoon - 182pts
PCS, Bolt gun, 2 G-Launchers ((he's the old laughing fat metal cadian lieutenant model))
2x Infantry Squads, 2x Lascannons.
Again I may combine these but I probably won’t. The CCS should be in range at least for a few turns to give BiD orders.

Lucky 7’s - 160pts
Vets, 2x Plasma Guns, M-Launcher, Demolitions, P-Fist.
I know the P-Fist isn’t needed but I’ve got a rather nice conversion I like using and he’s always done me proud.

I had always played and had seen it referenced in other forums that Pegasus Knights had AS 2+, but someone said PK's do not have barding.

Clearly the model shows barding, but that was not sufficient and nowhere in the Bret Rulebook could I find this.

So, what is the verdict? The Goal is to give nothing for the opponent to shoot at till they are in range of I have killed transports and Vehicles. The Kroot with Hounds will outflank to go for an objective with the Fire Warriors while the 2nd Kroot Squad sits on the home base. The three Crisis Suits will hide and pick off targets responding to threats as needed. The Stealth Team and Shadow Sun will Infiltrate and keep the Flanks clear and Mark-light any need to kill targets. Also the Huge Stealth Team can hit infantry hard if needed. The Squad leaders Mark-light can turn the squad in to a of minimum of Bs 3 torent of S 5 Death, I've Killed whole squads before with it.

Ok know onto the army itself. going with the fluff of the 13th company being in the EoT for 10K years they have had to scrounge some stuff from CSM. So in every model in the army they will have 30-40% of CSM stuff on them. This guy has both arms and chest plate taken from CSM. But to keep all the models together only one piece of enemy armor will still be in the enemies colors. This goes along with how GW painted their 13th company in the EoT Book. The two CSM colors I am using are thousand sons (obviously) and Word bearers. I think the red and blue from the CSM will go good with the red and blue/grey on the spacewolves all ready.

Any advise on improving my list will be most appreciated.

My basic plan with the army is to use the slaves and rat packs as sacrifices to control the positon of the enemys units. Warlocks and mortars for fire. Using the abomanations to tie up units. If I can give plague monks poisoned attacks then use the plague banner I'll be pretty happy.

So I'm adding a poll here and we'll hopefully see which army builds are the most common here on LO.

So, what kind of army do you play, and why?

I myself play a jetbike based army with some mechanization.
Reason being that in my mind jetbikes are awesome and Eldar vehicles are just plain cool.
Most of the army are things I consider cool though...
