Soon there is a trip the Warhammer World, which includes entry to 650 points per person doubles tourney. I'm not an over-competative player, but I do want my army to be able to put up a decent fight. Having no experience of competative play and playlists, I need help selecting what to take.

Basically the point of this list is to have so many things that are hard to take down that you dont know what to do with it all. This list will have Eye of the Gods rolls all over the place with rerolls on results. I have 6 Chariots all together and 1 of them is a rank breaker, but in all honesty I wont need to break ranks if I get at least two of the normal chariots in the front. Fear, Terror and Panic are obviously not a worry for me at all so my chariots wont be plowing through my own units too much.

The Shrines are really hard to take down with thier MoT so if people want to stop my units becoming beefy then I say let they try to take all of them down before Valkia, Kholek or any of my chariots reach the front line.

The main problem that stands out in my mind is that I dont really have a great way to deal with a blood thirster. kholek can piss him off all game by shooting him with bolts of lightning but thats about it, the only way im taking down a thirster is if I set up counter charges. Engines of the Gods will be no problem because Valkia on her own can take down one a turn and maybe the steg with it if she gets lucky. Kholek is going to be the main center peice of the army but not the backbone, he's going to draw a lot of fire in a gunline army but thats a good thing because it lets all the chariots move foward.

The point of all the level 1 wizards is to get in items to help with magic defence and to have other items I think are just too great to not have.

I think its a little small though, but with the general resiliance of the units I think its going to be ok. Valkia will probably deply with the warriors for a bit of protection but will end up flapping about causing havoc. the BSB with either deploy with the warriors or with the MoS knights depending on opposition. the other exalted will deploy with the MoK knights (of course) while the sorc hides somewhere

the GW marauders and the two warshrines will protect the flanks of the warrior block with the warshrines buffing up (probably) one of the knight units, with the re-rolls from valkia and the farting about with the roll from the favour on the exalted if that unit is targetted then good results should be inbound

the knights and the horsemen will assault the enemy flanks with the puppies preventing baiting

I did well at the 300 level, got STOMPED (More on that later) at 400, and next week is 500. The reason I got stomped is because I'm not very good at judging distances, so instead of getting the charge with my warriors I kept being on the receiving end of them. I'm also not too good at calvary yet, so you could say I'm pretty well bad. Still learning!

The small units of Marauders, and the marks of slaanesh are my idea to make up for being crappy at judging distance. The Marauders will march in front of the warriors and take the charge, and flee in response so that the enemy charge stutters out directly in front of my warriors. The warriors won't panic because of the mark of Slaanesh, and the Exalted Hero will provide leadership 8 to the marauders to reform them. There's an ogre kingdom army and an undead army, which is another reason for the slaanesh marks. I'm kinda worried about the marauders being shot up first though. Any suggestions?

Edit: My other idea was to use two chaos knights, one upgraded to a champion to serve as the general. These would come around and flank charge anything the warriors charged. I worked my units as follows:
Sigvald and the nurgle sorcerer were in with my unit of warriors and then in turn ran Festus with my Tzeentch Marauders to give them 5+ regen and 6+ ward regardless of strength of the unit they were fighting, ended up takin down a tomb kings bone giant and a scorpion in the same combat in 3 rounds.
