general synapsis is to piss in there cereal with the archers and bring them to the tarpit while keeping the ush flank units full healed w/ necrite and truth magics. chariots are mainly to assist the scorpion in handling things that like to sit back or run on thier own and/or stall big things long enough for the trpit to do its dirty work of being an outnumberin fear causing unit :) (which i run the unit in 5 ranks of 8 wide). The king is built to ENSURE the unit is not that easy to kill, and the truthsayer should she pull the appropriate spells has a army wide heal spell, and a ward save spell. that combined with the spear, thearmour, the banner... it should be pretty rough to cleanse that pit. let alone escpe from it.</div>

There is an upcoming tournament I am going to enter with it, but more importantly, myself and 4 of my friends have been trash talking and are going to have a mini-tournament for the honour of our armies. Now as you understand TK are hugely underplayed so it is vital that I slaughter my friends to prove a point and do well in the tournament. I know that there is likely to be High Elves, Vampire Counts, Warriors of Chaos and possibly (heavy magic) Dark Elves in both as I know some people looking to enter the tournament and can guess which armies my mates will play. <b><u>Plan:</u></b><br />
 <br />
<u>Tomb King:</u> Sits in the 3 man chariot unit bringing it up to 4 and target light/medium infantry and small h.cavalry units. With Sacred Eye, his SoA deals 4 S6 attacks on charge, hitting 3.33 times, wounding 2.77 times and killing 2.77 times on WS5, T4, Sv 4+. This means with a lucky roll he can resurrect an entire chariot. The often forgotten AoA is taken over Ench shield for 25pts more because his cost/wounds makes the additional wound worth 72pts but only cost 25, the additional bonus of healing himself being even more valuable. The Eye of Rah-nutt I took over the Chariot of Fire because such an expensive Lord is easily picked out of the unit by cannon fire due to the lack of <i>&quot;Look out Sir!&quot;</i> and that 2/3 of all attacks will hit the chariot.<br />
 <br />
<u>Liche Priest 1:</u> Heiro, fly around, heal, stay out of trouble. Basic CoD LP tbh.<br />
 <br />
<u>Liche Priest 2:</u> Sits on the casket double shooting the archers or SSC. Couldn't afford the Golden Ankh and thought it was a bit of a waste anyway, hoping to take out nasty things with carrion on turn one. Any thoughts?<br />
 <br />
<u>Liche Priest 3:</u> Mounted priest. Stays behind moving archer unit and heals/doubleshots/double moves them. Stays within 4&quot; of them for CoS to work and then when enemies are close, legs it back.<br />
<br />
<u>Bowmen 1:</u> Anvil. Moves up shooting, reforms when enemy are near and then chariots flank charge enemies. BoUL heals unit constantly bleeding DD or keeping unit together.<br />
 <br />
<u>Bowmen 2:</u> Shoot skirmishers, people in cover, lone characters and threats to their safety. Basic job is really to protect the SSC and Casket from cavalry and hold them till chariot based help arrives.<br />
 <br />
<u>Chariots 1:</u> With TK and target light/medium infantry and small h.cavalry units with imminant support. Will probably race down more open path due to ability to heal.<br />
 <br />
<u>Chariots 2:</u> Targets light/medium infantry. No healing so will need protection. Possibly gun this one down the flank.<br />
<br />
<u>Carrion:</u> Fly around march blocking and taking out war machines, lone characters, 10 man weak missile units, small skirmishers and kamakase mage-in-unit killing. <br />
 <br />
<u>Tomb Scorpion:</u> Pop up and kill stuff. Will plonk marker in their half and then use to butcher war machines, lone characters, 10 man weak missile units, small skirmishers and weak characters such as mages that are hiding in units. However this unit will also flank/rear charge units engaging other units so as to win combats.<br />
 <br />
<u>Screaming Skull Catapult:</u> Will blast heavily armed units such as large heavy cavalry units and large sized incoming threats such as 20 man greatswords units. The SoF will make fleeing 1/6 more likely delaying enemies and disrupting their lines for the cavalry and chariots to abuse.<br />

Any thoughts? Your criticisms are greatly required and welcomed as I reaaaally need to win this to prove a point :)</div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div>My local gaming club has been having a round of turnaments running over the past year in what were calling the &quot;massters serrirs&quot;. so far there has been a 1250pt, 2000pt, 3000pt, and soon will be the finnal round at 2200pts. each round there has been some kind of special rule(s) for each round. the first two here soo long ago it seems that i don't really remember them, however i do remember i played dwarfs in the first one and got slaugtered, the second i was new to tk, and the 3000pt one was a &quot;bring out the worst your army can do&quot; type game. after all the scoring i have managed to be somewhere in the middle of the standings with a sportsmenship award to boot! i have only been playing the game for about a year now as well so im not dooing to bad( only 7 points between me and the guy in the lead) <br />

anyway this time we have a set of Comp rulles that you can follow or not, nut every list gets judged by the rules and is given a score out of 10. each game you play, win or losse, you also get the points for your list added to your score. <br />
<br />
these are the basic comp rules without the full exsplanation.(its just too much to type!) <br />
1. did you spend at least 700pts on core?<br />
2. did you spend more than 900 pts on core?<br />
3. did you fill more than your required core slots?<br />
4. do you have more core units than special and rare combine?<br />
5. did you refrain from filling your special and rare spots?<br />
6.  did you spend less than 200pts on magic items?<br />
7. did you spend less than 700pts on characters?<br />
8. does your arrmy generate less than 8 power dice?              <br />
9. does your army have more than 2 missle armed troops?<br />
