Can anyone help educate me or agree with me as I wanna play warpheadz but realise the folly and I have warboss models but keep thinking that I'm risking my boyz unnecessarily.</div>

I am an established CSM player and have made the jump to Orks because I used to play them years ago in the first and second edition rules before I stopped paying. I'm back and am passing my CSM army to my bro.<br />
I have built an army with  12 Nob Bikers, warboss, Big mek with kff, Warphead, 10 lootas and about 60 ork boyz with the required nob leaders. oh yeah and 2 as yet unassembled trukks<br />
I wil be getting some killa kans and more boyz soon hoping to get to about 100<br />
<br />
I have read a lot of your posts and they are great with special thanks to Grax and prince of excess for and others who i forget to name for unknowingly shaping my collection with your advice.<br />
<br />
Anyway I am playing a 40k space wolves player and an experienced eldar player. I am planning on running 3 squads of 30 boyz with mek and kff and nob leaders and lootas for my first 1000pt battle agains them both. Are there any specific tactics or unit choices I should use against these two army types? Particularly the eldar guy who runs scorpions and seer council a lot?<br />

any advice would be a bonus as you lot have already helped me a lot!</div>

I love playing Kommandos with Snikrot, and I'm sure most people will agree that this is an effective unit.<br />
<br />
However, I'm going to be playing in a 1500pt Tourney with a special rule that disallows 'named characters'. So basically, no Named or special characters allowed because the people that run the tourney are afraid of Uber Cheesy named characters like Eldarch, among several others. <br />
<br />
So, I'm just wondering if Kommandos w/Nob PK, 2x Burnas, etc...are still effective or if I would be better off taking something else.<br />
<br />
Also, I thought I would list the core army I plan on running, just in case it effects whether I Should run Kommandos or something else.<br />
<br />

<font size="2">Warboss <font size="1">--Cybork</font></font>, PK, Kombi-skorcha 105 pts.<br />

So far thats 1087 pts. Leaving me with 423 pts.  <br />

I was thinking of taking Lootas and Kommandos but I could also opt for Stormboyz, Burna Boyz, Bikers (Nob or Warbikers), Deffkoptas, Gretchin and a Looted Wagon (possibley for a cheap Transport). <br />
<br />
Someone suggested I run a BW full of Burna Boyz and a Kitted out Warboss, along with as many Trukks full of Boyz that I can fit into the list. <br />
<br />
Before I solidy this list, I'm wondering if Deffrollas are really worth it on a BW full of Shoota boyz. The only reason I'm questioning it's usefulness is because it's usually best to move more than 6&quot; to Tank Shock a unit, but if you do that, then the Boyz inside don't get to shoot at all. There are times when I'm able to move 6&quot; and shoot at things with the Boyz, but on the turns you can't do both, you have to choose between using a 20pt. upgrade to cause D6 S10 hits on a unit, or using a 170pt Shoota boys squad to fire 41 shots with BS 2.  Am I doing something wrong in my tactics or am I misunderstanding the rules when it comes to Shooting/Moving?<br />
<br />
Also, I would like to know if you can give a KFF Big Mek a Pk or Burna (I initially wanted to give him a Kombi-Skorcha, but I'm pretty sure that's not permitted.)<br />
